The Future Begins Here

About Us

At Roosevelt Walker Academy, we are committed to preparing every student for academic success and future career readiness. Our students develop strong skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, mathematics, and science through a rigorous, standards-based curriculum supported by technology, high-quality resources, and collaborative teaching practices. By third grade, students achieve reading proficiency, setting the foundation for lifelong learning.

We also prioritize social-emotional wellness, fostering respect, responsibility, and safety through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), counseling, and engagement strategies. English learners receive integrated and designated ELD to ensure access to core content and timely reclassification. With the support of families and community partners, Roosevelt Walker Academy provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where students thrive as problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and contributing citizens of the 21st century.
